In order to reproduce: [1] Start LibreOffice. [2] Click „Templates...“ → Template Manager window is opened [3] Click „Templates...“ again → another Template Manager window is opened !!! Expected: Like in Version 3.6.6: No new window and warning noise. It is also possible to open several Template Managers with the menu: File → New → Templates.
Thank you for your bug report, I can confirm this bug running LibreOffice 4.0.3.3 on Mac os x 10.8.3. I can see that you can open more times but set the priority to minor because the template manger still workes.
(In reply to comment #1) > I can see that you can open more times but set > the priority to minor because the template manger still workes. I agree to that. (and can reproduce this behavior using Linux Mint 14 LibreOffice 4.0.3.3) Kind regards, Joren
shiver ..
It is also possible to open multible instances of the wizards: [1] Start LibreOffice. [2] Menu: File > Wizard > Letters... Letter wizard dialogue is displayed [3] Again Menu: File > Wizard > Letters...: Ver. 4.2.0: Another Letter wizard is displayed!!! Ver. 3.6.7: Nothing happens, i.e. no new dialogue and also no warning noise. You can argue that you like to create 2 letters the same time. But if you go on with "both" wizards, only one document window (Untitled1) remains. Hence I think this behaviour is also not correct.
Confirmed under Windows XP using LO 4.2.1.1 This is a regression from the 3.6 branch This can easily happen if you double click on the Template button...
(In reply to comment #5) > Confirmed under Windows XP using LO 4.2.1.1 > > This is a regression from the 3.6 branch Well, the Template Manager is fully re-coded between 3.6 and 4.0 (release). So this is not a regression as other bugs (it is even not bibisectable). Therefore I'm removing this keyword.
This one is already fixed… See bug 72587. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 72587 ***
Checked with versions 4.3.5 and 4.4.0.3. In both versions it WORKSFORME now. Hence bug closed.
