Created attachment 79127 [details] Screenshot of Page number problem, not shown correctly on version 4.2.2.0 Problem description: I have new installed debian 7 amd64, I Installed the Libreoffice Version 4.0.2.2 (Build ID: 4c82dcdd6efcd48b1d8bba66bfe1989deee49c3) downloaded from official libreoffice homepage. the problem appears when i want to add page number,it doesn't show the correct page numbers, but appear the word "Page Number" with grey background, so i decide back to Libreoffice Version 3.6.6.2 (Build ID: f969faf). in this version the page number appears correctly. Steps to reproduce: 1. Just try to add page number from, Insert>Footer, then Insert field. page number, but not as i expected. 2. Try to reinstall libreoffice 4.2.2.0 but still no changes 3. The problem doesn't appear on windows release, may be because it was 4.0.3 version, not 4.2.2.0 as on linux release :) Current behavior: Doesn't show page number, but appear the word "Page Number" with grey background, Expected behavior: the page number appears correctly on footer with number format (1,2,3 ...etc). Operating System: Debian Version: 4.0.2.2 release
Mmh, strange behavior. I can not reproduce this using Linux Mint 14 x64 with LibreOffice 4.0.3.3. Is it possible to reset your user profile (https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile#Resetting_the_user_profile) and retest? Kind regards, Joren
Yeahh, it works :D i try to remove my old user profile on ~/.config/libreoffice/4/user (actually i just rename it into user.old), and its automatically regenerate the new one when i reopen the program. thank you, Mr.Joren :D (In reply to comment #1) > Mmh, strange behavior. > > I can not reproduce this using Linux Mint 14 x64 with LibreOffice 4.0.3.3. > > Is it possible to reset your user profile > (https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile#Resetting_the_user_profile) > and retest? > > Kind regards, > Joren
