There has been ~/.config/libreoffice for a while now.
Which LO version do you have?
(Last ones are 4.0.3 or 3.6.6 for 3.6 branch).

If you didn't make customizations/add extensions etc., you can remove ~/.libreoffice
To be sure to not lose anything, just rename the directory and try.
