Problem description: The image cropped in the drawing will be squeezed in the exported pdf file. Steps to reproduce: 1. insert any jpg file. 2. crop the image. 3. export pdf file Current behavior: The image is squeezed instead of cropped in the pdf file. Expected behavior: The image is also cropped in the exported pdf file Operating System: Debian Version: 4.0.2.2 release
Thanks for reporting. I can not reproduce this using Linux Mint 15 x64 with LibreOffice 4.0.3.3. Is it possible to attach a sample document (ODT) that we only have to export as PDF to reproduce this behavior? * How did you insert the jpg file (insert > Picture > from file...), or by dragging, ...? * How did you crop that image? Kind regards, Joren PS: feel free to mark this bug again as UNCONFIRMED when you provided the information. Thanks.
Created attachment 79535 [details] a sample odg file Here is a sample odg file. The two insert images are jpg and png format.
Created attachment 79536 [details] The ouput pdf file Here is the output pdf file. The png image is exported correctly, while the jpg file is not correct.
Thanks for providing a test document! I can reproduce this behavior with you attached document. Priority: * normal: does prevent you to make high quality work * medium: default severity for normal-bugs. Kind regards, Joren
Note that this seems to also happen in Impress, so I suggest changing the component field of this bug report.
I can't reproduce that on LO 4.0.4.2 (Win7 32bit) using JPEG compression (90%) as option while exporting as PDF. But choosing Lossless compression generates the bug.
Hi Jorendc/Axel, I think it's a duplicate to Bug 33656
