Thanks for reporting.

I can not reproduce this using Linux Mint 15 x64 with LibreOffice 4.0.3.3. Is it possible to attach a sample document (ODT) that we only have to export as PDF to reproduce this behavior?

* How did you insert the jpg file (insert > Picture > from file...), or by dragging, ...?
* How did you crop that image?

Kind regards,
Joren

PS: feel free to mark this bug again as UNCONFIRMED when you provided the information. Thanks.

The ouput pdf file

Here is the output pdf file.
The png image is exported correctly, while the jpg file is not correct.

Thanks for providing a test document!

I can reproduce this behavior with you attached document.

Priority:
* normal: does prevent you to make high quality work
* medium: default severity for normal-bugs.

Kind regards,
Joren

Note that this seems to also happen in Impress, so I suggest changing the component field of this bug report.

I can't reproduce that on LO 4.0.4.2 (Win7 32bit) using JPEG compression (90%) as option while exporting as PDF.

But choosing Lossless compression generates the bug.

Hi Jorendc/Axel, I think it's a duplicate to Bug 33656
