Hi Phillip,
Thanks for the report.
It opens fine in 4.0.3 on Ubuntu. Wil try in 4.1.0alfa/beta later.

Does it open fine for you in 4.0.3?
Comment 2 Phillip Ross 2013-05-25 23:03:56 UTC
Yes, it works in 4.03 just fine.
Comment 3 Thomas van der Meulen [retired] 2013-05-26 08:11:28 UTC
Thank you for your bug report, I can't reproduce this bug running libreoffice Version: 4.1.0.0.beta1
Build ID: 3a2c2d2417101e45fe07cfd8358acf2204a98f3 on Mac osx 10.8.3

The file opens with out a problem.
Comment 4 Thomas van der Meulen [retired] 2013-05-26 09:35:10 UTC
I also can't reproduce this running Version: 4.1.0.0.beta1
Build ID: 5271b34bec742e190e2fe5a7dadb7334a705b54 on windows 7. it opens in 3 sec for me.
Comment 5 Jorendc 2013-05-26 11:51:20 UTC
I also can not reproduce a crash using Mac OSX 10.8.3 with LibreOffice 4.1.0 beta 1 (and of course 4.0.3).

But I see some major formatting issues, which is definitely a regression. Example: The section titles are cropped (letters are on top of each other).

@Philip: You mind reporting a separate bug report for these formatting issues?

Kind regards,
Joren

I deleted the user profile and the file still crashes Libreoffice every time I open it.
Comment 9 Phillip Ross 2013-06-09 17:05:02 UTC
I just downloaded 4.1 beta 2, and every book length LiO file I opened crashed. Just open the file, wait a moment, and it crashed. So, I doesn't appear to be fixed.
Comment 10 Cor Nouws 2013-06-09 21:25:11 UTC
Hi Phillip,
Sorry to read that you have (again) problems with that file.
But since three people here (Linux, Mac, Windows 7) do not have the problem, I have the strong impression that it is a problem with ?? but not with LibreOffice.

Set importance to Normal and version to 1st version of report.
Considering to close as NOTOURBUG .. ?
Comment 11 Phillip Ross 2013-06-10 17:15:56 UTC
Yet, I have no such problem with Version 4.0.3.1 (Build ID: a67943cd4d125208f4ea7fa29439551825cfb39), which works flawlessly.

no crash with LibO 4.1.1.2 under Win7 64 bit.

@Phil
have you tried using 4.1.1? do you still have this issue?

I change status to NEEDINFO waiting for reporter's feedback.
