Only the separator after the last line remains. To reproduce, create a file from the screenshot, asve as "doc", close, and reopen.

I repeated the same steps with LibreOffice 4.1.4.2. No changes, the error is still there.
Confirmed under MacOS 10.6.8 using v4.3.0.3 Build ID: fcd3838c4097f7817b5b3984fd88a44e1edd8548 and GNU/Linux using v4.4.0.0alpha+ (2014-07-19). The DOC opens in LO (both versions) with only a border under "fifth line". The DOC open in MS Word for Mac 2011 with borders: - Above "first line" - Beneath "fourth line" - Beneath "fifth line" Status set to NEW. Platform set to All/All. Whiteboard "filter:doc" added. The bug is still there in LO 4.3.7.2. After saving as DOC the file opens with a horizontal line separator only under "fifth line" All other horizontal line separators disappear.
