Description Winfried Donkers 2013-07-08 11:45:26 UTC
-open attachment
-document shows frames all over the pages, obscuring the main text. Some frames are part of the page header.

Problem occurs with Windows (XP and 7) and Linux (openSUSE 12.3) and with various versions, at least starting from 3.6

version with which problems occur range from 3.6.5 (earlier versions not available for me) up to and including 4.2.0.0alpha+ (git pull -r && make from this morning).

First test document comparison LibreOffice 4.1.0.2 RC vs Word for Mac 2011

Hi Winfried,

I can confirm strange things happens, but not only with LibreOffice :).
Tested using Mac OSX 10.8.4 with LibreOffice 4.1.0.2 RC and Word for Mac 2011.

First test document is oddly rendered in both Word for Mac and LibreOffice.
Second test document is rendered as far I can see correct using Word for Mac, but isn't on LibreOffice. As you said: frames are shuffled/mangled.

Looks almost fixed. I only can confirm there is some spacing issues in the frame itself. I'll upload a diffPDF screenshot.

Going to mark this bug as RESOLVED WORKSFORME and report the spacing issue in another report.

Tested using Windows 8.1 with LibreOffice Version: 4.4.0.0.alpha0+
Build ID: eddd7646d672ea9b0561dacb09da224d098e531e
TinderBox: Win-x86@39, Branch:master, Time: 2014-07-18_06:42:50

Compared with Word 2013.

Kind regards,
Joren
