Hi Flo :), I can confirm this behavior, tested using Mac OSX 10.8.4 with LibreOffice 4.1.0.2 RC. Kind regards, Joren
If I oopen the "test.pub" file with LO, writer opens and shows some rather random text giberish. Maybe I'm holding it wrong? Florian, if you can provide more detailed reproduce steps, that would be helpful. Does this persist with 4.3.0.4?
(In reply to comment #2) > If I oopen the "test.pub" file with LO, writer opens and shows some rather > random text giberish. @Foss: Do you use Mac? In that case you probably hit Bug 82035, so you should try with 4.3.1/master instead.
Hi, 1)Create a .pub file with a table in MS Publisher 2) Open in LibO With Version: 4.4.0.0.alpha0+ Build ID: abc28ffc04067eb24840fbf564c311aaee10f84d TinderBox: Win-x86@39, Branch:master, Time: 2014-07-15_07:18:40 you see a rectangle (blue) instead of a table. Setting to NEW due to confirm @comment 1
Hi, Same problem with a table created with MS Publisher 2003. Regards, Bernard
It was never implemented in the first place.
(In reply to Urmas from comment #6) > It was never implemented in the first place. That is not quite correct. libmspub parses some table-related data (I do not know if it is all that is needed, or if more work is necessary there), but it does not use it in any way. This was implemented purely for future use, because the then used libwpg import interface had no support for tables. We can do it now, though.
