Use the LibreOffice open/save dialogs to add a webdav connection over https.
After set all the settings and click "OK" the connection is listed under "Places".
Click to the webdav connection close LibreOffice immediately without any message.

can't test this...
I have a question: did it work with previous Lib releases or 4.1.0.4 is your first installation?

What you mean with first installation?
My system ist debian 7.1 and i uninstall the distributed libreoffice and install the debs from libreoffice.org

did you ever used previous version that did not show the bug?

I use it before, must be LibreOffice 4.0, which work.
