Problem description: Steps to reproduce: 1. The Time (HH:MM) in the Table is ok 2. The Form displays 00:00 Current behavior: 00:00 Expected behavior: HH:MM Potential problems relate to Solicitor and Legal Software applications being developed from the Database. Operating System: Windows 7 Version: 4.1.1.1 rc Last worked in: 4.1.0.0.alpha1
Do you really get this behavior in LO 4.1.1.1 rc? The input of time had been broken in LO 4.1.0.4, but this bug has been fixed - see here: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=67387 I can't confirm it for LO 4.1.1.1 rc - but my system is Linux ...
Sorry, fix of the timefield was here, but the same version, where it has been fixed: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=67235
@Vince do you still see this issue on LibO 4.1.1.2?
Tommy. I have had to move back to the previous version. The 4 upgrade has destroyed some of my data because of this bug. The stuff I am working on depends alot on time calculations (start times and end times). I will download the latest version onto a new system and check it - but for now - I can't trust version 4, and I am currently sticking with what I know. I will update this later on. Vince.
for testing purposes you can use the portable version at this link: http://sourceforge.net/projects/winpenpack/files/X-LibreOffice/releases/ you can find the 4.1.1 portable and see if the issue is still there without need to uninstall/reinstall. do you already see this bug in 4.0.x releases or just in 4.1.x release? which version are you using right now? 3.6.x?
I tried to download 3.6, but it looks like I have 4.0, The bug appears in 4.1. I know the community are talking about it - but it seems to be one of those that only certain people are hitting. Obviously not everyone is using the Database with a time recording system like I am. Don't want to change at present, but will do later on. Right now - very busy. By the way - changed to Apache shortly after the bug hit - theirs has a bug in relating to mail merge. That is why I reverted back to what I thought was 3.6 - because most of the systems I use are written using that version. Vince. Changing 'regression' -> 'PossibleRegression' until we have independent confirmation of a regression.
From what I can gather this is still an 'unconfirmed bug?' I will re-writing a number of applications in Base in which will be able to test this with the latest version of Libre Office. It's important because most of the applications I am writing in the open format will directing new users to your website to download Libre Office. Under construction at present - but see my website www.tlabs.moonfruit.com Vince On 16 October 2013 18:12, <bugzilla-daemon@freedesktop.org> wrote: > Qubit <qubit@runcibility.com> changed bug 68094<https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=68094> > What Removed Added Whiteboard BSA BSA PossibleRegression CC > qubit@runcibility.com Keywords regression > > *Comment # 8 <https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=68094#c8> on bug > 68094 <https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=68094> from Qubit<qubit@runcibility.com> > * > > Changing 'regression' -> 'PossibleRegression' until we have independent > confirmation of a regression. > > ------------------------------ > You are receiving this mail because: > > - You reported the bug. > >
Please, could you attach a sample odb document showing the problem? Best regards. JBF
ok - this is where the problems began - it's an application written in base and it is at the bottom of the download lists. This is the basic one - I am working on a more complex dbase. Could you please provide step-by-step instructions? 2) Thanks for the shout-out to LibreOffice on your website. If you get a chance, could you please update the spelling of the project's name to "LibreOffice"? Hello Vince, I have downloaded the database and tested with some data. The bug you reported appears here only with versions LO 4.1.0.0beta1 up to LO 4.1.0.4. I doesn't see the bug with Version: 4.1.1.1 Build ID: a990db030b8125868501634ff662be1d89d0868. In your report you have written, that this is the version the bug appeared with your system. I can't reproduce the bug with my system (OpenSUSE 12.3, 64bit, rpm-Linux) and the version you described. The bug, which appears here, had been bug67235, which had been fixed in 4.1.1
Robert, thank you. I killed my computer over the Christmas Period and using Ubuntu 8.10 (Intrepid Ibex) on a really old laptop so not only am I not able to test 4.1.1 - I can't download it in this version at present. Will continue to code(?) using LibreOffice 4 once I have a new computer!
