Created attachment 84151 [details] RTF document with spacing to content lost. Open the attached RTF file with LO 4.x. Tables table1 and table2 should have non zero spacing between border and content in each cell, as shown in the pdf export of the same file in MS-Word. Best regards. JBF

Confirmed: http://cl.ly/image/0h1e2G1W0K2R Spacing between border and first letter is zero. But isn't that expected behavior? Where's the setting saying this should be otherwise? If you drag the two triangles at the top while having marked the paragraph you want to move, you can move the text away from the border. Would that solve the problem? http://cl.ly/image/3T0t3G221P0z
Thank you for your bug report, I can reproduce this bug running LibreOffice. Version: 4.1.1.2 Build ID: 7e4286b58adc75a14f6d83f53a03b6c11fa2903 on Mac osx 10.8.4. I think that this isn't the expected behavior because wenn I open it with texteditor by Apple it has the space as well as the user says that there should be some space.

(In reply to comment #4) > Created attachment 84667 [details] > LO-4.2.0(2013-08-24) vs Word 2007 sp3 > > What is wrong? For example in the table "Identité du requérant ...", the distance between the left border and the first letter should be not null as shown in MS-Word. Best regards. JBF
Reproducible with LibreOffice 4.2.5 and 4.3.0.2 on Debian x86_64.
This has been fixed in the master 4.4 builds. There is now spacing between the border and the text. Version: 4.4.0.0.alpha0+ Build ID: 6a6e8628bdbe60931ce8e7fa9f4bb66170f7737b TinderBox: Win-x86@39, Branch:master, Time: 2014-09-30_00:24:33
