Jan,

We really need to know more.

Tell us the version of LibreOffice that you are using, the database
you are using, and what you are trying to do. For the last, please
give us a numbered list of the steps you take, and take it down to the
level of each keystroke and mouse click. At each step, tell us what
the program does, and--if you think the program should do something
else--tell us what you think the program should do.

You might look at
<https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=67128#c10> as an example
of the level of detail that I think is helpful in the list of steps.

Terry.

Spreadsheet with a list of Labels to be printed

1) I have a file filing-lables.ods with one column and 31 rows. The first record contains the field name and the content is "label"
2)LibreOfficeBase > Connect to an existing database > Spreadsheet > next
3) Location filing-labels.ods Next
4) Yes, register the database for me, Open the database for editing > Finish
5) Save filing-labels.odb > Save, I now have a Table "Sheet1" which when opened has the contents of the 30 rows with the label "label"
6) File > New > Labels Database - filing-labels Table sheet 1 Database field "label" <=
7) Format Avery Letter Size 5160 Address
8) Options Entire page. Synchronize contents, Printer - my default printer
9) Insert fields, Other, Mail merge fields, "label"
10) Insert fields, Other, Next Record
11) Synchronize Labels - they all say "label

Step 10 does not appear to do anything

I have tried to reproduce it, but can't follow your instruction when I look for the following points:

Don't know where to find. I have pressed "create new document" - don't know, if this button is called so in the English version. Then I get a new document. Pressed "print" and got the labels printed.
