Problem description: integration of film (avi, fly etc.) doesn't work! errormesasge: format is incorrect Steps to reproduce: 1. allways retrying the procedure 2. .... 3. .... Current behavior: Expected behavior: Operating System: Windows 7 Version: 4.1.1.2 release Last worked in: 4.1.0.4 release
Not reproduced with LibO 4.1.2.3 on Win7 : intégration of a short .AVI succeeds. I experimented tons of "incorrect format" for videos in the past (every where, not specificaly in OOo...). If it last worked in 4.1.0.4 release, that may evoque a lack of robustness in the LibO film input filter. However I suggest you still try with films from different sources.
Hi Hugo, following Dominique findings please attach your sample file. So anyone here could do testing using same source. You could try again using LO 4.1.2.3 & reset user profile. Then please mark this report UNCONFIRMED
most likely the problem is missing Windows codecs - LO does not provide any Video codec by itself, it uses DirectShow or whatever it's called. removing regression keyword, since reporter did not provide a reproducible scenario anyway.
Hugo, please attach a small sample of the movie you are trying to insert so this can be tried to reproduced. Also please provide exact steps of what you are doing to insert the video.
