Try this. Maybe, I should provide also the font.
I cannot provide the original file (confidential) and the font
(proprietary) on bugzilla.
I provide a modified file, even if I doubt it will crash because I
reinstalled version 4.05. If it does not crash, I will reinstall 4.1.2 and
edit a new "crashable" one.
Jus tell me.

@Carlo
test file can be exported to PDF with no crash using LibO 4.1.1.2 under WinXP 32bit.
Comment 6 Alex Thurgood 2013-09-17 10:29:00 UTC
Can not confirm on OSX with LO 4.1.1.2, the PDF is produced without crashing.

Recent versions do not show this bug anymore. They don't crash anymore even if there is still some difference with preceding versions: when usig a custom font, Writer shows all text in italic, but when I change the style it accepts the roman/normal style (and shows the font name in italic).

When exporting as PDF, it complaints that the font is missing and that it will not include it, but when analysing the PDF file, the font is there.

Maybe this form is malformed, that's all.

Ok Carlo. I set status to WORKSFORME since the original problem has gone.
