Doc sample file that can not be opened.

Dear Sirs,

We have a CRM software that generates rtf-doc files, however the files generated could not be opened by Libreoffice.

We receive an error dialog box says, I/O error.

Would you please help to solve this problem?

We were using openoffice.org derivative Oxygen Office Professional and it opened the files without any problems.

I tried the Libreoffice.org 4.1.1.2 and saw that it opened a docx file that I test to see the compatibility. So I chose to try using Libreoffice.org however, it turned out to be incompatible with 97-2003 doc file produced by the CRM software.

If you can solve this , we will be able to use Libreoffice.org ...

Please find a sample file as attached.

Thanks and Regards,
Burak Ural

Hi,
It's a known bug, which has already fixed. The fix will be included in 4.1.2 version, which will be released later this month.

Changing DOC extension to RTF opens the file.

I guess the Libreoffice can not check automatically the file type and open it using correct filter.
