Description freddi34 2013-09-12 11:13:17 UTC
Problem description:
When you open LibreOffice Impress by double-clicking the launcher icon or desktop file and then cancel a document recovery, LibreOffice does not open Impress but instead a generic "new document" dialog.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Have a Writer odt file waiting for recovery.
2. Open Impress. The recovery dialog comes up although it is about a Writer file and not related to your Impress work.
3. Cancel the recovery.

Current behavior:
A generic "new document" dialog comes up and you have to choose again to open Impress.

Expected behavior:
It continues opening impress since that is the program that you launched.
Before that it would better not interrupt you for recovery of a Writer file (or at least allow to "skip, not now").

Operating System: Ubuntu
Version: 4.1.1.2 release

I can't reproduce because I don't know how to crash LibreOffice and get the recovery dialog. ;-)
That said, I believe what you describe but it is not really a bug as it works as designed. So set as enhancement.
