Problem description: Data from upper cell is added (at the beginning) to lower cell (on document open). Steps to reproduce: 1. Enter text to cell and insert (in the middle or at any position) line-break (press ctrl+enter). 2. Start cell below (at that row) with line-break (press ctrl+enter) and some other text after it. This and upper cell may contain any number of empty cells between them. 3. Save + open + press F2 for the lower cell. Current behavior: Data from upper cell is added (at the beginning) to lower cell (on document open). Upper cell is not modified. Expected behavior: Cells should contain data exactly as it was before closing document. Operating System: Windows 8 Version: 4.1.1.2 release
There's typo: "Start cell below (at that row)" -> "Start cell below (at that column)"
Hi Sergey, What a special bug did you find .. :) See in on Linux too. Any idea if it was the same in previous versions? Thanks, Cor
Hi This should have appeared in the latest (release) version, or at worst case at some of the latest versions. I use formatting with ctrl+enter pretty often, I would notice it for sure and wouldn't use it if it was there (for instance) a year ago.
Hi Serge, Checked in various 4.1.0.x versions. The problem doesn't exist there. 4.1.1.2 is the only 4.1.1.x I have to test. In any case the problem is introduced in the 4.1.1-branche. Cor
Hi Sergey, I cannot reproduce with Version: 4.5.0.0.alpha0+ Build ID: 28c61871e876e6a2cac47439f768504b1a4c94a0 TinderBox: Linux-rpm_deb-x86_64@46-TDF, Branch:master, Time: 2015-03-27_06:30:21 and LO 4.3.3. Please, could you retest with actual version of LO if bug still occurs for you? Thanks. http://www.libreoffice.org/download/libreoffice-fresh/
It was fixed long ago - at some of following updates right after it was submitted.
If a speciffic commit/fix is not known, then it's not Fixed, but WorksForMe.
