Test ODB

The attached stand-alone ODB has one form, called Test.

Open it.

Press the 'Hide' button.

The form will be made invisible, and will appear again in 1 second.

The form now has no toolbars.

All that has been done in the Vis macro executed by the button is to turn the visible property of the window off and on. This is very useful when managing a chain of windows in a modal dialogue.

The toolbars can be turned on again manually, but one is not going to that several tens or hundreds of times a day.

This behaviour is quite new. I am not 100% sure it is new in LO 4.1.1.2, but I think it is. I don't have earlier versions available. It certainly used to work without problems.

Have tested it. First appears in LO 4.1.0.0.beta1. Works with LO 4.0.5.2.

And, having purloined some time on my partner's PC (for which I shall no doubt pay in due course), it still fails on a Windows system running LO 4.1.2.3

So I set the platform for this bug to all/all.

This is quite a nuisance. Is it likely to get assigned to anyone?
Comment 5 tim 2013-12-21 12:38:16 UTC
Any movement on this?
