Problem description:
Fontwork Shadow not working

Steps to reproduce:
1. Write a text
2. Select FontWork
3. Activate vertical shadow

Current behavior:
No shadow

Expected behavior:
Vertical shadow

If I activate "rotation" or something the shadows appear.

If I load pre 4.1. documents all black shadows (I made with FontWork) of the text has now the font color! And this color can not be changed. But I will open another bug for that.

Operating System: Mac OS X
Version: 4.1.2.3 release

In your screen "not working" the left button is selected, that means that no fontwork is applied and you cannot get any shadow. I do not see an error in that behavior.

I think this button is only to position text in a path. But I don want to reposition the text but only add a vertical text shadow with a different color than the text. It worked in V4.0 this way.

I have got LO 4.0.1.2 for Windows, and it does not work that way. Please add a small file with a text and shadow, that work in your LO4.0.
