Description Matt 2013-11-08 06:18:59 UTC
I opened a .csv file, clicked ok to accept the column layout.
I proceeded to edit a couple of rows.
Finally, I saved the file ( same filename).

While saving the program switched from the original CSV (comma separated values) format to TAB separated format despite the filename extension being .csv

Having a .csv file extension and having the original file format as CSV should mean that saving the file should keep the CSV format.

Hi,
I closed Bug 71377 as a clone of this bug, because (as far as I know) LO doesn't distinguish between saving in the same file, or saving to another file. In both cases it exports the file from the internal representation.
