Description Peter Maunder 2013-12-06 17:13:31 UTC
Tools > Paths > Templates > EDIT
1. There are two entries in the path list, the second is selected. If I select the first one and select OK, on reselecting EDIT the first one is still chosen.

2. If I select ADD and add a new path, select OK to leave the EDIT panel and OK to leave the path panel the system hangs.

Expected behaviour. 1. Selecting the first entry should result in the first entry being selected.

2. Select OK to leave the EDIT panel. OK to leave the path panel, new path should be added to the path options, the system should not hang

Hi Peter,

thanks for writing the issue.
I do not have these problems. Also wit 420 beta2 on Ubuntu.

What I do see, which is confusing, the selected path changes position and is at the bottom always in the window 'Edit paths'

How is that for you?

best,
Cor

P.S.
I tested with a userprofile, imported from a previous version.
Will try to ceck with a clean one later..

Adding Stepan in CC who knows alot about registering stuff ..

Hi Cor,

You are quite right. Thank you for pointing out that the selected path changes position. My reported 1. is therefore incorrect as a logic error. But is just confusing.

I have bypassed problem 2. by manually copying Templates to the /home/peter/.config/libreofficedev/4/user/template folder.

Although the system locked up, the registrymodifications.xcu file does show an entry
 <item oor:path="/org.openoffice.Office.Views/Dialogs"><node oor:name="FilePicker_Save" oor:op="replace"><node oor:name="UserData"><prop oor:name="UserItem" oor:op="fuse" oor:type="xs:string"><value>1 file:///home/peter/LibreOffice-Root/Templates/Peters</value></prop></node><prop oor:name="WindowState" oor:op="fuse"><value xsi:nil="true"/></prop></node></item>

But this entry is still missing from the /paths/template. Hope this helps Peter
