Description Petr Neudek 2013-12-08 11:28:06 UTC
When sorting - two columns of about 900 lines of crashes that dialogue is described as follows:
VECTOR <T>
Invalid subscript.
- The file was saved just before it (total of 3 times) and is given the choice of "always save a copy"
- Restoring a file opens as blank.
-------------------------------------------------- ------------------
- This is what I found out first on an unsaved workbook. He will appear in the "Restoring a document and" but during the first phase jumps message: -
The file $ (ARG1) $ can not be repaired therefore can not be opened.
-------------------------------------------------- ------------------
For sure the whole process here:
- Open a new workbook> Link to external data.
- In the dialog to insert a link to http://www.openoffice.org/api/docs/common/ref/com/sun/star/awt/Key.html
- Now you must press enter (this is not normal - another opportunity to confirm and does not even AOO - WHY?!)
- Reads the segments of html and pick the Table.
- Then press enter in the dialogue (which is between activated - before it was not).
- Get my table "Constants group Key"
- Following the "Edit"> "Disconnect link" + confirm.
- Save
- I want to extract some lines - like this "const short NUM1 = 257"
- You are all in the "A", because in the "B" copy question IF(yes=ROW(),not="")
- Reads entire column "B" in mind and put back only value.
- Save the workbook again
- Select the correct section Ax:By
- Asks "Data"> Sort> "B" (there are line numbers, so order as in html remains)
- Enter = fall workbook (LO remains without falling).

Please be careful.
Similar expressions is "maybe" also Writer. One student described that came after the fall of the seminar work.
It's here - but in the Czech language. Unfortunately, not whether the LO used and what version. But speech is very similar. Waiting for the backlash. It may not come (probably not have the time - wrote seminal work from the beginning).

- I tried to contact him and I asked for an urgent reply. But this probably will not succeed. I myself have examined over hexaeditor. The body of work is completely empty.
- In the process of transcription end ODT / ZIP system can not open the zip archive. Hexaeditor shows that there is not one bit and I got it about 35 kilobytes
- I do not do unnecessary alarm, but it may be a mistake LO. It is very annoying. Few people use the option "save a copy", which should seek to avoid. Perhaps it would be sufficient to set the default "save a copy" and give the opportunity to turn this off.

This my warning is not justified. The referenced error Writer became the ApacheOffice.

Comment 4 CJ 2014-02-13 02:35:05 UTC
Fresh install of LibreOffice on Win7
Have sorted on one field, file of about 3000 rows. Every time it crashes.
This makes the software useless for me.

Did you try with version 4.1.5 ? Your problem seems different from this one
Please file another bug report. Don't forget to attach an example document.
