Created attachment 90779 [details] A wordperfect document with a pleading-paper template applied as a border On LibreOffice for Mac, wordperfect documents with a pleading-paper border (an example file has been attached) do not display the border. The border should appear to be two lines on the left margin, with numbers down the left side of the lines. This does not display, leaving only the content within the margins. When I open the same file in Linux, I get nothing but gibberish characters. Linux system: Arch Linux, up-to-date as of 12/14/2013, LibreOffice 4.1.3. Mac system: OS X 10.8, up to date as of 12/13/2013, LibreOffice 4.1.3. WordPerfect on friend's system, v11 (I think). File attached contains just the pleading-paper border, nothing else.
Confirming that I don't see any border when opening the test file. I don't have WordPerfect so can't check if any border shows there. This is the first WordPerfect document I've seen in real live - didn't know that software was being used. Setting to NEW.

Leaving aside the filter/Linux issue, it appears that when the document is first converted to a Word doc, the numbering is displayed as comments. This leads me to believe that the numbering is being stored in something akin to comments, and the fact that LibreOffice can't read comments from WordPerfect documents possibly explains the problem. OK, several things: 1) Document is declared corrupted by the wplook.exe introspection tool, but this is nothing to bother us since we are great at handling the corruption. 2) The document is empty, only that it has line-numbers as watermark which libwpd is not supporting.
Yeah, the document is empty. It had sensitive content in it which I removed in a fresh copy of WordPerfect.
