Drawing including explanations illustrating the problem - .jpg format

I have published 3 books in the domain of satellite engineering (each approx 300 pages w. lots of figures) based on OpenOffice. Due to LibreOffice starting to overtake OpenOffice, after completing my last book in February I switched over from OpenOffice 3.6.x to LibreOffice 4.1.0 and subsequently now to 4.1.3.2.
I'm starting my 4th book now and run into catastrophic incompatibilities. Block diagrams with autorouted connectors between blocks get completely cropped in LibreOffice.

I was able to isolate the buggy behaviour with a very simple example. It does not seem a problem between OpenOffice and LibreOffice, it seems a bug in LibreOffice Draw itself:

Imagine you have two shapes and connect them with an autorouted connector which glues to each shape. Now you want the connector being routed slightly more right or left, you can click on the glued connector and move the routed line.

Save the drawing and close it.
Reopen it and the connector rerouting is lost.
I attach an example figure.

This bug is so severe, that most of my existing figures are cropped when opening them in LibreOffice. OpenOffice never showed this problem. If it is not fixed in a very short timeframe, I'll be bound to switch back to OpenOffice.

Best regards,
Jens Eickhoff

I can confirm this bug with libreoffice 4.1.3.2 on Linux (Gentoo).
It's very obvious. The settings of the default connector doesn't get saved.
