Created attachment 91049 [details] Word document with far too much pages The original Word document has 55 pages. If I open it with LibreOffice 4.1.4.2 on a WindowsXP SP3 system it has 443 pages.

I confirm issue on Win7x64 using 4.1.4.2 once loaded the page count starts climbing to 443 also tested on other releases 3.6.7 --> can't open file "I/O error" on loading 4.0.4 --> same issue page count issue so I change version to 4.0.4 (the 3.6.7 was a different bug) but probably it something that comes from the 4.0.0 version edited summary notes to a better description I add Writer expert to CC list
