Description Arturs Bebris 2014-01-10 19:21:55 UTC
It is impossible to change decimal seperator for Latvian locale to ".". Period symbol is used everywhere, but LibreOffice interprets it as a text. Checking or unchecking "Same as locale setting" box has absolutely no effect.

This bug was keeping me and my clients away from Openoffice, and now I see that nothing has changed in 5 years and in Libreoffice as well.

ps. OS locale settings are set to "." of course.

Arturs: which LO version do you use?
Last stable one is 4.1.4.
There's also 4.2.0 RC1.

Could you give a try to 4.1.4 and if it doesn't work to 4.2.0 RC1? Try to rename your LO directory profile (or remove it if you don't have any customization), see https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile, before each test.
Comment 3 Arturs Bebris 2014-01-13 13:06:33 UTC
I tried 4.1.4, and currently using 4.2.0.1. Same thing.
