Description Phil Munck 2014-01-10 23:33:43 UTC
Problem description:
Upon new installation of LO 4 and JRE 7, LO cannot find jre. Error messages are not detailed enough to locate the file that it wants.
Steps to reproduce:
1. ....
2. ....
3. ....

Current behavior:

Expected behavior: I expect that if LO needs JRE to function, it will find that programs it needs if I install them in their default configurations. The bug is in the development process.

Operating System: Windows 7
Version: 4.1.4.2 release

For the moment, there's only LibreOffice 32bits for Windows. So it needs a 32 bits jre. Do you have JRE7 32 bits or 64bits ?

Sounds like a dupe.

As Julien asked Had you installed a 32-bit JRE?

@Foss, bug 72397 affects late beta and RC of the 4.2.0 builds.

As we are well beyond EOL for 4.1, and OP never responded setting resolved works for me as 32-bit JRE worked without issue.
