Thorsten/Andras: one for you? (langpack pb or signature pb?)
The image shows LibreOffice_4.0.6_MacOSX_x86_it.dmg, not 4.1.4.
Andras: had missed this information, sorry for the noise! Keyopen: I gave a try on MacOs 10.7.5, I could install LO 4.1.4.2 + Italian package. Could you give download the right package and give it a new try?
Created attachment 92348 [details] Italian Language pack 4.1.4 error I'm sorry, the previous image was wrong. I retried to install the language pack but I received the same error. I post a new image with the right version
I put it back to UNCONFIRMED since I don't have other question.
@keyopen : what are your security settings ? Probably set to only allow Apple Developer certified apps or from certified sources, I guess. If you unset that option in your OS security preferences, i.e. turn off Gatekeeper to install the language pack, and then turn it back on again afterwards, the lanugage pack should install. The language packs are not signed. This is not a new problem. Personally, the workaround of switching off the security settings and switching them back on again is an ugly hack, IMHO. COnfirming, because I experienced exactly the same problem with the installation of 4.1.4.2 on OSX Mavericks, but worked around it by turning off Gatekeeper, installing the langpack, and then turning back on. The problem won't be resolved for the majority of Mac users until we can sign langpacks...
Upping status to reflect that this is a problem for all Mac users that have Gatekeeper. Personally, I would consider this a blocker, but am in no position to fix it, so... This is almost certainly a DUP of a previous langpack installation bug. Alex

WORKSFORME. Using 4.2.1 with german language pack here. I don't think this is a problem. Can we all agree that language packs do work and install on OSX, but Gatekeeper is an annoying piece of ****. Closing this as worksforme and I'll update https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=53320#c12 with latest info about this problem.
