Description Marlin 2014-02-02 19:48:41 UTC
Using LibreOffice 4.2 with ia2 enabled and a screen reader, (NVDA or Jaws), and opening a edited spreadsheet, all cell content is announced as 0.
Comment 1 Marlin 2014-02-02 19:50:24 UTC
This also occurs in LibreOffice 4.3 alpha.
Comment 2 Marlin 2014-02-23 21:27:00 UTC
Another detail: the cell, when you press f2 to edit it, appears with a link in it content, although there is not any link in that cell.

@Marlin,

Works for me with latest release.

Please have a go at this with current LibreOffice release
Version: 4.2.2.1
Build ID: 3be8cda0bddd8e430d8cda1ebfd581265cca5a0f

I believe it has been corrected and now is a little to chatty, but the contents, links and formulas are sounding. If OK now, please resolve this fixed.
Comment 4 Marlin 2014-03-02 20:38:00 UTC
Hello,

Tested with the most recent release and the problem persists.
Even if the spreadsheet is blank, the screen reader says 0 when arrowing through the cells.

Blank cells rendering as 'Zero' is a different issue-- bug 74441

Just to be sure, when you launch LibreOffice 4.2.2.1 with IAccessible2 set active, and AT in use, as the program comes up do you hear AT respond with

Notably the Alt+O for Open File, Alt+E for Templates, Alt+D for Create Writer Document, Alt+S for Calc Spreadsheet... etc.

Of if you mouse over or tab to the thumbnail view:

ThumbnailView
Click an icon to open a new document or a file dialog.

If you are not hearing the Alt+ accelerators announced, you are not in IAccessible2 mode, and probably are in Java Access Bridge using the Java Accessibility API. The spreadsheet cells will not announce substantive content.
Comment 6 Marlin 2014-03-03 17:11:04 UTC
Hello

I am surely in IAccessible mode.
Comment 7 Marlin 2014-07-28 18:16:43 UTC
Hi,

Unfortunately, this problem persists in Libreoffice 4.3.0 rc4. I deleted previous versions, cleaned the settings and all folders containing files associated with Libreoffice, then I have installed the 4.3.0 rc4 and the accessibility in Calc still the same. I think this is an important thing, as several blinds would like to have an option, as they don't like Microsoft Office or don't want to pay for them.

Setting to UNCONFIRMED, as no information is lacking.

@Marlin,

Believe this is resolved fixed, so please retest
with the current 4.3.4.1 release,
http://www.libreoffice.org/download/libreoffice-fresh/

or with a 4.3.5.0 daily
http://dev-builds.libreoffice.org/daily/libreoffice-4-3/Win-x86@51-TDF/current/

or even the 4.4.0beta1 build
http://www.libreoffice.org/download/pre-releases/
Comment 10 Marlin 2014-11-27 01:49:05 UTC
