Hi Michael,

thanks a lot for reporting this and the good comparising picture.

It's an interesting document with frames, pictures, shapes..
Anyway: indeed it does not show properly in LibreOffice.

Set the version to "inherited from...' - it hasn't been opened properly in earlier versions either.

This is 100% textboxes or whatever. It should have been designed in Draw, not in a word processor.

Microsoft Office 2016 open the document correct. The bug was from 2014 reported by me, we got so many documents in the past which are not compatible from Microsoft Offie that we switched to MS in 2016.

Caolán McNamara committed a patch related to this issue.
It has been pushed to "master":

It will be available in 7.3.0.

The patch should be included in the daily builds available at

Affected users are encouraged to test the fix and report feedback.
