Created attachment 93408 [details] insert column before "D" Hide a column with hyperlinks; Go to next column and with rigth mouse button do "insert columns left"; The new column is filled with hyperlinks that are unseen and udelettable
Hi, I can't see any hyperlink in your attachment. Where are they ? or have we to introduce them ourselves ? Where ? If the inserted hyperlinks are unseen, how do you detect their presence ? Thank in advance.
Hyperlinks are in column "C", it's hidden. If I unhide column all is OK, "insert column left" works as it should. You may "detect" unseen hyperlink by cursor shape (PointingHand, not Arrow), by looking at "hover tooltip" (wait a second) or simply try to select one of cells in a new column (I can't select those who have hyperlink)
Thank you for your answer. I reproduce the bug with LibO 4.2.0.4 on Win7. It looks like the rectangular area used to set the cursor shape to PointingHand forgot to take into account that the cell is hidden. Status changed to NEW.

Created attachment 155204 [details] Sample spreadsheet for reproducing bug I don't believe it's necessary to insert a new column in order to trigger this bug. It is sufficient to simply hide a column containing hyperlinks; after doing this, LibreOffice Calc behaves as if the column immediately to the right of the hidden column contains hyperlinks, even if it does not. Here are simple steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Create a new document in Calc. 2. In Cell A1, add a hyperlink to https://www.example.com/ 3. Hide Column A. 4. Place the mouse pointer over cell B1. Observed results: 5. The mouse pointer changes to a hand icon and the following tooltip appears: "Ctrl-click to follow hyperlink:https://www.example.com/". It is not possible to focus on the cell by left-clicking. Expected results: 5. The mouse pointer should remain as the default icon. Left-clicking on the cell should focus on it. Attached is the file that results after following the above-noted steps to reproduce. The file was created with LibreOffice Calc 6.3.2.2 on openSUSE Tumbleweed.

The problem is partially reproducible with LibreOffice Calc 7.1.5.2 on openSUSE Tumbleweed. A hidden column with hyperlinks still results in the "Ctrl-click to follow hyperlink" tooltip appearing when the pointer hovers over the cell in the next column. However, it's at least possible to select this cell, whereas it wasn't with LibreOffice Calc 6.3.2.2.
Partially repro with: Version: 24.2.0.0.alpha0+ (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: e9374f74385d7dfe77d1902d3d82af20143bc775 CPU threads: 8; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 22621; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win Locale: fr-FR (fr_FR); UI: fr-FR Calc: threaded It is possible to hide a column with hyperlinks. It is possible to create a new empty column. But it is only possible to unhide a column by using ctrl+a and then clicking right on the top of one column to select the option to show the column hidden. If I don't select everything before, the option to show the column hidden doesn't work.
