Description Chris McKenna 2014-02-07 09:28:20 UTC
In LO 3 (and apparently also versions up to 4.1.4) when selecting columns with the keyboard, hidden columns were selected and deselected as if they were visible. In 4.2.0.4 they are apparently ignored.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Create a spreadsheet with three columns A, B and C
2. Hide column B
3. Click in cell C1 and press shift+left to select columns

Current behavior:
Selection becomes A1:C1

Expected behavior:
Selection becomes B1:C1

This also happens when selecting from column A. I have not tested with hiddfen rows.
Operating System: Ubuntu
Version: 4.2.0.4 release
Last worked in: 4.1.4.2 release

This behavior was intentionally changed so that all hidden rows/columns get automatically selected.
Comment 2 Chris McKenna 2014-02-13 20:47:44 UTC
This should really be an option then, as it is now completely impossible to select only some hidden cells using the keyboard.
