Same behavior:
using LO 4242.
Got an E-mail with a table in it.
Copy and paste in a new writer document: no table, only the content wihout formatting.
Then I dressed a table and tryed to paste the content in the table - no way, even when I marked the whole table before.
Then I copied the whole document (text & table)
same result as before.

Copied the table and pasted it into MS Word 2010: this did work!

What do users who have only LibreOffice?

Using LibreOffice 4.2.5.2 on Linux (Kubuntu trusty).
Copy and paste work!!!
I have to download the newest issue for Windows.

Dear Zeki,

Thank you for submitting the bug. I can confirm that the bug is available in Windows 7 on 3.3.0, 3.6.7, 4.3.1 and master.

By default LibreOffice pastes the 'html without comments' option, which is shown in attachment 93845 [details]. The paste special rtf option could have worked except most of the tables were crushed flat (seems wordpad and kingsoft writer do this as well, but slightly different). The only means to retain the original form is to paste special with 'microsoft word document' and 'gdi metafile' options, but of course these formats are not editable after pasting as one is an ole object and latter is a picture.

By default word 2013 pastes in html format, which doesnt look exactly like the original, but if special pasted in rtf format it does.

In Version 7.3 I get a message as this email file is corrupt and cannot be open.

In this case is this bug valid?

It is valid. It may not be clear from the description, but the reproduction step1 in comment 0 should be:

1. Open the email *in MS Outlook* (maybe of a specific version)

And comment 18 created an alternative for the steps 1 and 2. Now it can be:

1. Open NirSoft InsideClipboard;
2. In it, load the CLP file from attachment 197426 [details] (File->Load From .Clp File);
3. Paste to LibreOffice Writer (Paste Special -> HTML format).
