In Writer 4.2 the page numbering restarts erroneously when a paragraph identation has changed manually using the ruler handles. The page following the change is always numbered as "1". The problem applies also to documents created with previous versions of the app. The bug does not show when changing the paragraph formatting from the menu.
Created attachment 94627 [details] test document Hi i.e., Attached a file (from 4.2.1.1) that does not show the problem. Can you attach your sample file? thanks, Cor
Created attachment 94760 [details] Sample odt/pdf document I am attaching a sample Greek pdf document (actually, the document language is irrelevant). The problem shows up when you change the paragraph indentation using the ruler, not the format/paragraph dialog box. The content of the page number field changes, usually in the page following the page where the change was made, and page numbering restarts. In LO 4.2.1.1, if you save, close and open the document, the page numbering is corrected. In the pdf file attached, the problem is obvious - see the output on the 4th page of the doc, which is numbered <1>. And you can replicate the problem in any other document, please let me know if you need a sample odt file for this, since I can only attach a single document using this reply form. Best, Ioannis E. Saridakis
Yep, we need a sample odt file.
