Impress presentation long to load

Impress on Windows 7, 16 bits.

I have several impress presentations some large some small in file size. One small one, with thirty some slides take a long time to long compare to similar presentation with similar slide numbers. It does not make use of special feature, only tables and images.

Regards

Indeed.
With LO 4.1.5 there is a memory leak when I try to switch to the slide sorter view
No such problem in LO 4.2.3.0.0+, only the same long time to open the file.

Did you try to simplify your presentation? For example by removing the background in your slides?

Best regards. JBF

This is a presentation imported from Power Point

I deleted all slides with Table imported from Power Point, and the presentation load much more quickly.

So there is a problem either at the import level, or the LO Impress engine has problem rendering the tables from the power point import

Sorry, my mistake, the memory leak is on the master not on LO 4.1.5 where opening the file is much faster than with 4.2 and master and where slide sorter view works as expected.
So set keyword regression.
