Fixing MIME type No crash with LibreOffice 4.1.4.2, 4.2.0.4 and 4.3.0.0.alpha0+ Build ID: db0222881be20744c071be451d77a7dc4a0dbb56 TinderBox: Linux-rpm_deb-x86_64@46-TDF, Branch:master, Time: 2014-02-21_10:31:05 on Debian x86_64. What build do you use? What is you platform? Could you attach a backtrace as explained in https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/QA/BugReport/Debug_Information ?
No crash for me under Linux / Ubuntu 13.10 x86-64 with versions 4.1.5 (release), 4.2.3.0.0+ (dev.) and master (Build ID: d5c59404bec65c8a9d9e05c1fcc24e068d170924) built at home. Due to question in comment #1 set status to NEEDINFO. @reporter: my suggestion is you should test again after a complete rebuild: make clean & make. Best regards. JBF
Build Id:-2f4db1cf6eaf28fc5907dca4870368ea4b67fbc0 I checked it on Ubuntu. Please find the attached gdbtrace.log for backtracing. I checked on Windows also with libo-master~2014-03-03_00.17.16_LibreOfficeDev_4.3.0.0.alpha0_Win_x86 and it is getting crashed. I have attached some more .docx files which are causing the crash.

Thank you. Still not reproducible for me. Set status back to unconfirmed. Best regards. JBF
Issue is no longer reproducible on latest build. Build ID:- 4ce261f9f68ee710a883604181299b13cd14ae7b, Build date : 5 March 2014 Checked using git blame on ./sw/source/core/doc/docbm.cxx. Same fix has been provided as we had figured out.

Hello. I am sorry for being late. I reproduce the crash with LibreOffice 4.3.0.0.alpha0+ Build ID: 20b8944cd4771f75564277a5144e96b7d9c3d616 TinderBox: Win-x86@42, Branch:master, Time: 2014-03-03_00:17:16 and Build ID: 4402efc18ae16e279d55858946d2c8b8972f3f9f TinderBox: Win-x86@42, Branch:master, Time: 2014-03-04_01:17:34 on Windows 7 x86_64 I do not reproduce with LibreOffice 4.3.0.0.alpha0+ Build ID: 4fcd5534348adcb61ab85b93478c272b8d9e8f8c TinderBox: Win-x86@42, Branch:master, Time: 2014-03-04_23:27:21 and Build ID: 2b78f2cd7b9e4bab0f3b3b9119238f36a1bbc7b2 TinderBox: Win-x86@42, Branch:master, Time: 2014-03-05_23:52:08 on Windows 7 x86_64 The problem seems to be platform depended. I do not reproduce the crash with LibreOffice 4.3.0.0.alpha0+ Build ID: 20b8944cd4771f75564277a5144e96b7d9c3d616 TinderBox: Win-x86@42, Branch:master, Time: 2014-03-03_00:17:16 on Wine 1.4.1 from Debian 7 “Wheezy”. Anyway, the bug was and the report is valid. We even know the patch which solved the problem (http://cgit.freedesktop.org/libreoffice/core/commit/sw/source/core/doc/docbm.cxx?id=14f124a5ef5c32bad765265d5a3f05290ccc6149) So, I set bugstatus to resolved fixed.
