Description Nikos Platis 2014-03-15 20:06:29 UTC
LibreOffice Calc 4.2.2 contains a new command "Collaborate" under the "File" menu.

When selecting it, a "Fatal error" dialog pops-up with the message "file:///usr/lib/libreoffice/program/../share/config/soffice.cfg/tubes/ui/contacts.ui" and the program crashes.

I see that in the folder
/usr/lib/libreoffice/share/config/soffice.cfg
there is no folder "tubes" mentioned in the message.

All this happens on Arch Linux x86_64.

See the bug on Arch Linux bugtracker:

I do not see that menu command, neither in 4.2.2.1 nor 4.3.0.0a0+. Can you post a screenshot?

It is interesting, but when I installed the official rpm on my system, this command did not appear.

Please see the comments of the maintainer of the package for Arch Linux in the bug report mentioned in my previous comment, maybe it is of some help.

could it be, that you have an Extension like the GDocs and/or Zotero (or something like that?) one installed in your LO? And/or an software, which provide this functionality with LO? I cannot find the menu entry with LO Version: 4.1.6.1 Build ID: a59ce81388f477fc89db57f0c27f222f31884eb nor with LO Version: 4.2.3.3 Build ID: 882f8a0a489bc99a9e60c7905a60226254cb6ff0 (both parallel installed, following the instructions from https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Installing_in_parallel, and with Germanophone lang- as well as helppack) nor with Version: 4.3.0.0.alpha0+ Build ID: b7c7bd3de0fdadaf5e4769e0759d68ad17fb7bd0
TinderBox: Linux-rpm_deb-x86@45-TDF, Branch:master, Time: 2014-04-10_02:05:19 (also parallel installed, but with en_US lang- as well as helppack) under Debian Testing i686 ... :(

He mentioned "Telepathy" in https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/39464#comment120650. Could it be, that you are using any additional extension, package, or the like, which is causing this bug?
Sorry for the inconvenience
Thomas.

This must be an extension so it's not our bug - please contact the developer of the extension. Thanks!
