Description Lant 2014-03-30 19:43:27 UTC
I discover a very simplest and easiest method of hanging down a Libreoffice Calc
There's discovered where I was copying a sheet from one document to other.

Beginning. I have open an ODS file with some sheets, tables, datas etc...
I choose entire sheet, pressing mouse to upper-left corner of sheet.
Entire sheet is highlighted. Next step, I do "edit-copy" from menu.
Sheet is copied to clipboard. Next, I switch to other document.
I need to paste a sheet in clipboard. I choose entire sheet again, pressing mouse to upper-left corner. Then, subsequently, I do "edit-paste" from menu.
Sheet from clipboard is copied to new place (in other document).

I was copy in the same way a slighly some documents. These operations was monotonous...

But, in one document I've missed and copy to clipboard a cell (instead sheet).
Next, I choose a entire sheet of other document and press "edit-paste"...
From this moment, Calc hangs down, and also other libreoffice documents hang down (my first document in other window, and text document in LibreOffice Writer).
I want to break a mistaken operation, but Calc have hung and can't take any commands. Why? Why does not provided a cancelling operation, an example on pressing 'Esc' key?

Entire all my unsaved office documents have lost. Condolences...

I have to discover this bug in Calc too. I was copy a symbols to clipboard (some words), then I choose a entire sheet, next "edit-paste". Hang down!
In this moment, in 'Task Manager' I see what Calc - eating free memory and increases in own capacities. I have get, Calc attempt to copy a content of clipboard to all - ALL - cells, from first to lastest - 1048576!!! In vertical and horizontal! There's resulting a very, very big cyclopic table!

How to solve this problem? I see this way

If sheet is empty, then paste from clipboard to entire sheet must be to ONE cell.

If sheet have a some content, then paste from clipboard to entire sheet must be to area from 'A-1' to LAST USED string and column in document.

In process of copying, there are a breaking command, an example on pressing a 'Esc' key.

Reproduced by copying a single cell and pasting it to the entire selected sheet in another Calc document.

Yeah, a cancel option would be nice.
