Problem description: When creating a new document from a template selected in the Template Manager dialog box, the highlighted template will not activate unless the ENTIRE highlighted tile is visible within the boundary of the dialog box. If the highlighted tile is only partially visible, the document will not activate. Steps to reproduce: 1. Select a template where the selection highlighting is only partially visible in the dialog box. 2. Double click ---> nothing happens. 3. Scroll the template so that the highlighting is entirely visible in the dialogue box. 4. Double click ---> the template becomes a new document. Current behavior: Expected behavior: If the document has highlighting, and is double-clicked, the action should occur. Operating System: Windows 7 Version: 4.2.0.4 release
Hello John, *, could it be, that this is an identical bug to https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=76261 (though the reporter has used different additionally created directories for his templates)?`I have not enough templates to reproduce your bug, sorry, but maybe bug #76261 is really related to this one ... ;) HTH Thomas.
Thomas, It very well could be the same bug. I have found that in the default size of the template manager window, that only the tiles in the top row or sometime the second row showing in the dialog box are clickable. You can tell if they are clickable because the the options to "Open, Edit, Properties, Set as default,..." become active. If the tile is not clickable, the options do not show even when the document tile is active. From the description of the other bug, it seems to folders behave the same way.
Can't reproduce, so assuming the fix for 76261 fixed this also. Win 7 64-bit Version: 4.4.0.0.alpha1+ Build ID: 56019dcb79475606952a954fe732a3109441ffec TinderBox: Win-x86@39, Branch:master, Time: 2014-10-30_07:27:11
