There are no context menus inside the Group Outline area (the gray areas at the top or left of the worksheet, where the group outlines are displayed.) A context menu will make it much faster to work with the groups, as compared to selecting a command from the menu system.
Please better explain what "Group Outline area" is. Also explain what this context menu would contain. Setting to NEEDINFO - once you explain clearer set to UNCONFIRMED. Thanks

I think I understand the idea
The context menu could provide items from the menu: Data > Group and Outline > Hide Details > Show Details ...
Created attachment 160125 [details] Outline area So you mean this area, but what contextual functions should be presented there?
(In reply to Heiko Tietze from comment #6) > Created attachment 160125 [details] > Outline area Yes - it doesn't make (much) sense to add a context menu there, since you can just click on the symbols. What I thought of (but didn't tell :) ) is - when an outline is uncollapsed: the range of rows or columns in the outline - when an outline is collapsed: the two rows or columns on either side of the outline > So you mean this area, but what contextual functions should be presented > there? Add in that area, enrich the context menu with Outline > Hide Details Show Details
Context menu on the buttons makes no sense (and currently we respond on right click too) so what remains is the whole area. And since you may have many groups the Show/Hide action would apply to all. Makes no sense to me. But a tooltip would be very handy (not the last as the buttons are poorly designed and way too small). For example we could show "Grouping of B$:D$"\nClick to show/hide. Objection?
