Hi, I could not reproduce using 4.2.3.3 or 4.2.4.1 on Ubuntu 14.04. What is your Linux distro? Sophie

Tested on Linux Mint with LibreOffice 4.2.4 and 4.3 beta without any issues. Have you tested the same issue on a new version of LibreOffice. Which linux distribution are you using? Please provide more information so we can look further into the issue.

did you install any LO specific extensions?
Have you got accessibility options enabled on your system?
For the test, could you disable them and give it a new try?

Another test too, could you rename your LO directory profile (see https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile#GNU.2FLinux) and give it a new try?

(BTW, last stable LO version 4.2.5)

If you still reproduce the crash, would it be possible you retrieve an useful backtrace by following this link? (https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/QA/BugReport/Debug_Information#GNU.2FLinux:_How_to_get_a_backtrace)
