Created attachment 97854 [details] File to reproduce bug Problem description: Steps to reproduce: 1. Open attached document 2. Modify any of the heading styles („Überschrift“): In tab „organizer“, set „Next style“ to „Text Body“. 3. Double-check: it's still „Text Body“. 4. Save document, close Writer. 5. Open document again 6. Modify the same heading style: „Next style“ is „Überschrift“ again. Current behavior: 1) Does not save the new "Next style" 2) Occasionally loses connection to "Linked with" style (was: "Überschrift" in original document) Expected behavior: Save styles as selected, keep present styles intact. Hint: Is this possibly a conversion fault caused by German language packet? While switching from German to English language for this bug report, the style "Textkörper" changed to "Text Body", but "Überschrift" still stayed this way (should be Heading). The original document was a German DOCX file. Operating System: All Version: 4.2.0.4 release
Hi, It works fine for me in 4.2.4.1, Can you pls check that? Also: with your file a "Save as" automatically selects docx as file format..
No, 4.2.4.1 doesn't work for me on Windows XP.
I think it's a wierd problem related to that specific (docx) file..?
It's a DOCX from Word 2010 converted to ODT. The bug seems to only affect the LO 4.2.x fork in Windows, not Linux. It happens with XP with SP3 as well as Windows 7 SP1, but not in Debian Linux 7 (Wheezy). Couldn' test with other versions.
looks as a duplicate og bug 79142 ?
@ bugzilla@humorverwaltung.de Can you pls check in a newer version? See bug 79142 that is fixed in 4.3.x thanks - Cor
