Created attachment 98335 [details] It's a DOC with 1 TEXTFORM with MORELINES set into the TEXTTYPE option. If you open it, you'll find TEXTTYPE options set as SINGLE LINE. Problem description: I insert a TEXTFORM in a new document and set MORE LINES (WITH FORMAT/WITHOUT FORMAT is the same) into TEXTTYPE option, then i save the document into a new file with DOC extension. I close and reopen it, i verify the TEXTFORM settings and the TEXTTYPE option is set as SINGLE LINE. I remodify it and save, close and reopen it and the problem is still the same. N.B.: The same settings applied to a ODT file works correctly. I find the problem only into a DOC format. Steps to reproduce: 1. Insert TEXTFORM in a new document 2. Set MORE LINES into TEXTTYPE option 3. Save document as *.DOC and exit 4. Reopen the document 5. Verify the TEXTFORM OPTIONS 6. TEXTTYPE option is set as SINGLE LINE. 7. Remodify the option and save. 8. Close and reopen. 9. The problem is still the same and i find SINGLE LINE set. Current behavior: I find the TEXTTYPE option automatically modified into the DOC file. Expected behavior: I expect the MORE LINE option is correctly saved into the DOC and find it next time the file is opened. Operating System: Windows 7 Version: 4.2.1.1 release
Confirmed in Linux Mint 3.6.7, 4.2.4 and 4.3b. I believe that the TEXTTYPE = MULTI-LINE feature is not available in the .doc file format, which would be the reason why LibO saves the .doc file without it.

I tried with version 4.4.2.2 and 4.4.3 but the problem is still the same. I modified the TEXTBOX settings in Text Type -> Multiline, then saved the document as DOC and ODT. The DOC format doesn't save the correct settings and restores the setting as SINGLE LINE, the ODT format saves correctly as MULTILINE.
