Description Jean-Paul Garnier 2014-05-08 18:28:28 UTC
Steps to reproduce:

1) Open/create a spreadsheet that has a date column (formatted as MMM DD, YYYY ... in case that has any bearing), amongst other columns
2) Enable auto-filter
3) On the date column, do a standard filter in which your criteria is a simple greater than (i.e. >), then select any date as your value. The data should filter successfully.
4) Save the file.
5) Close the file.
6) Re-open the file.
7) Issue: the data will be filtered, but the auto-filter for the aforementioned column will not have retained the filter criteria and will not be blue.

Hi m.a.riosv,

Thank you for your help and let me apologize for my delayed reply.

I've just attached a sample file above.

Also, I've since upgraded to the following and the issue still seems to be present. I'm now running:
-Version: 4.1.6.2
-Build ID: 40ff705089295be5be0aae9b15123f687c05b0a

Machine specs:
-Dell laptop
-Windows 7

Incidentally, I also run Ubuntu Linux 12.04LTS as a dual boot, and I have LibreOffice installed there, too. Although the version of LibreOffice escapes my mind at the moment, I remember using it yesterday and the above issue did not occur.

Thank you again.

Thanks for the sample.

The problem is with xls files, with all version I have tried.

With ods and xlsx the filter is saved, but the value when edit the standard filter is as number not as date, selecting again show the values to select as dates.
