Problem description: I followed the enhancement request link and it brought me this bug submission page. I just wanted to suggest a 'fit to page' printing option. thanks Steps to reproduce: 1. .... 2. .... 3. .... Current behavior: Expected behavior: Operating System: Windows 7 Version: 4.2.4.2 release
ok, but please explain exactly what you mean with "fit to print" and "where" should that new option go in the user interface.
When choosing the print option, especially in excel, you usually end up using more paper than you should to print since some column or row spills over to another page. Excel has a adjust the scaling to a certain size or fit to option to make the scale of the selected print area or cells, fit into one sheet of paper by shrinking everything. This feature would go on the print or page setup option. please do not use you email software to reply to the discussion but rather post your comments directly in the web page at this URL. https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=78680 I set status to NEW. If you could provide a screenshot of that Excel feature it would be helpful.

In the Page style, there is an option on 'Sheet' tab to set up the scaling mode. 'Shrink print range(s) on number of pages, to 1 does the job. 'Shrink print range(s) to width/height, to 1 / 1 also does the job.
