I have been able to confirm the issue on: Version 3.0.3.2 Platform: Ubuntu 14.04 x64 + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + As I've been able to confirm this problem on an earlier release I am changing the version number as version is the earliest version (which is inherited from OOo) that we can confirm the bug, we use comments to say that the bug exists in newer versions as well. The "warping" is due to a contour on this image (in the header, right click on image, and choose wrap - edit contour). LO apparently "crops" whatever is not inside the contour. In Word, this is "Edit Wrap Points" and doesn't seem to affect the image drawing, only how close the text can come to the image.
