Screen reads: "Locked for editing by unknown user."  How do I remove this blocking?   Computer uses Windows 8.

Hi Leo.. Your report lacks many informations, please provide:
- step by step procedure to reproduce the problem
- LO version

Then please change status to UNCONFIRMED to let someone do testing.

What step by step?  
I turn on Libre office and I try to open a file and a message (see above) comes on the screen.

Please do not use abreviations.  I do not know what an LO is.

LO - LibreOffice acronym so we'll need the version.

Also I suggest trying to get help on ask.libreoffice.org first as this seems to be an environment problem (your computer, vs. the product) and maybe someone over there can walk you through fixing it.
