The 4.1 version has reached end of life. Does this problem occur in newer versions?

Hi, what is your linux version, it seems to be Ubuntu? and is it a ppa version? I can not reproduce with Ubuntu 14.04 and 4.2.5.2. Thanks - Sophie

Thanks - Sophie I am using Manjaro, but as I mentioned in the bug report the issue occurs with Gtk themes that uses the murrine engine such as Greybird, Numix, Bluebird, Orion etc. Under Ubuntu the default Gtk theme is Ambiance, so you should switch to one of the themes I mentioned (Or others that do use the murrine engine) in order to reproduce the problem.
I forgot to add that mi DE is Xfce, also I have made a few tests with Unity, Lxde and Gnome Shell and it seems that the problem only occurs with Xfce.
I have finally found the cause of the problem, the guilty was the Xfce compositor, once disabled the issue does not happen, and trying with a different compositor (in my case Compton) did not bring the problem back. Guess now I should fill a bug in the Xfce tracker, also shoul I mark this one as resolved?
Yeah closing - report with them. thanks!
