Created attachment 102459 [details] spreadsheet that contain the wrong calculation Problem description: Steps to reproduce: 1. Open the attached file wrong.ods. (You can also get the file from this link: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/81157608/wrong.ods 2. Look at cells E51 and E53. 3. Read the comments in cells B51, B53 and B54. Current behavior: Cells E51 and E53 are incorrectly calculated. Expected behavior: You can see the comments in the file. Operating System: Ubuntu Version: 4.2.4.2 release
Hard recalc (ctrl-shift-f9) resolves the problem. But I don't know how could you generate that kind of error? I never met that while doing such operations.

Sorry I forgot to explain that I can't reproduce from scratch the reproducing step in bug description within LO 4.2.5.2 and 4.3.0.2 @Gerard, what you meant with row deletion maybe reported in Bug 80284
(In reply to comment #3) > @Gerard, what you meant with row deletion maybe reported in Bug 80284 When I open reporter attachment, I saw weong result as reporter said. I can confirm your 1st comment "Hard recalc solve the problem". Row (included in the SUM reference) deletion make SUM not recalculated. Need Ctrl+Shift+F9 to see correct result. May be a dup of 80284... but we need the reporter to confirm/infirm the step by step leading to error in SUM result. He just post the file with erroneus result, but we don't know what procedure lead to this problem.
I produce a similar error by deleting/changing a cell of an area of a SUM() and then doing REDO (CTRL-Z). The sum() remains incorrectly at the value of the step before. (LO Version: 4.2.6.3 and older, @WinXPPro) sum( cell1 : cell2 ) 125 125 32 # three cells logged by copy-paste from LO Calc after redo i.e.: 157 = 125 + 32 #OK, now delete cell2 "32" ... 125 = 125 + 0 #change the sum(), OK, and then redoing (CTRL-Z) to restore old value "32" of cell2 yields (see log above) 125 = 125 + 32 #WRONG ! ! ! after redoing I confirm the work around from ign_christian > Hard recalc (ctrl-shift-f9) resolves the problem.
... sorry, I ment "undoing", not "redoing".
@comment 5+6 LO Calc Version: 4.3.4.1 recompute at UNDO now correct LO Calc Version 4.2.8 still shows the reported bug with the missing recomputing at UNDOing. @comment 1 I ckeck the wrong.ods-bug, too: Version: 4.3.4.1. fails further
