Steps: 1. Install the extension: http://extensions.libreoffice.org/extension-center/copy-only-visible-cells 2. New Calc, type "ABC" in A1, and select A1. 3. Edit - Copy only visible cells, then try to select other cells. > Result: cells selection box/cursor does not show. Whowever, from the column and row labels you can see that the cells are selected. LibreOffice Verion: 4.3.0.2. OS: Win XP SP3. Someone also reproduce with 4.2.5.2 on Fedora 20 x64, see here: http://libreofficechina.org/thread-141-1-1.html
This bug only happens if you click the "Edit - Copy only visible cells". Do not reproduce when using the "Copy only visible cells" toolbar icon or call the macro directly. Do not reproduce when create a new custom menu and then add "Sub CopyOnlyVisibleCells" as submenu.
From the unziped Addons.xcu, I see: <prop oor:name="URL" oor:type="xs:string"> <value>vnd.sun.star.script:SelVisiCell.Module2.CopyOnlyVisibleCells?language=Basic&location=application</value> Is this a valid UNO "URL"?
Reproduce in Fedora 20 X86_64 Version: 4.2.5.2 Build ID: 4.2.5.2-1.fc20
